How deep do you grind the stump?
Stumps are typically ground 6 to 12 inches below ground level, which is sufficient to prevent regrowth and make space for grass or other vegetation.
Is there any preparation I need to be aware of before scheduled stump removal?
Before grinding begins, please clear the area of any large rocks or debris around the stump to ensure safe and efficient access for our equipment. We also strongly recommend marking any underground utilities that you personally are aware of to avoid accidental damage during the process. Keep in mind our company ALWAYS calls 811 to mark utility lines but it's also helpful if you have insights.
